Day trips in summer

Welcome to the island this summer and enjoy the sea, food, culture and history in a wonderful setting.

During the period July 1 - August 15, we offer fixed day trips from Marstrand and Skärhamn.

After a delightful and beautiful boat ride, you will go ashore on the small island of Hamneskär, home to the mythical lighthouse Pater Noster. On site you can experience the outdoor exhibition Guardians of Water which is exhibited around the island, with fantastic photo art by international photographers Christy Lee Rogers and Zena Holloway. There will also be a smaller exhibition in the Art Hall, featuring the work of international photographer Lara Zankoul. Art Hall is the old outhouse on the island that has been transformed into the world's smallest art gallery.

The summer café in Fyrmästaren's boathouse is open where you can enjoy a hearty lunch with flavors from the sea and vegetables from Fyrmästaren's garden, along with a glass of good wine, a beer or a fresh lemonade. After a cup of coffee and something sweet, you have the energy to climb the mighty lighthouse and are rewarded with a breathtaking view of both sea and land.
