"GUARDIAN OF WATER" - A tribute to all the oceans on Earth

June 2 - August 30

A unique experience combining art and nature on the island and in the Pater Noster Art Hall.

The exhibition is a celebration of the ocean and water on our planet. The photographers behind the works, Christy Lee Rogers from Hawaii and Zena Holloway from the UK, are both strongly committed to issues of biodiversity and the well-being of the world's oceans. Both photographers are well known internationally and have exhibited in major galleries and museums. Zena is a photographer for National Geographic and Christy is the creator of the painting that hangs in the beautiful Lighthouse Master's dining room. The opening is co-created with UpOnWalls.

Christy Lee Rogers‍

Christy's work has been exhibited globally and is held in both public and private collections worldwide. Her work has been featured in international magazines such as Vogue, Elle Decoration and Global Times. Christy is also the photographer behind the stunning painting that hangs in the Lighthouse Master's dining room.

Zena Holloway‍

In addition to her own art projects, Zena has also worked for National Geographic and the BBC. Her work has been published in international campaigns and editorials such as The Sunday Times, Nike and English National Opera.

Pater Noster Art Hall - Lara Zankoul

In the island's smallest building, we have created our own art gallery where, in addition to the larger exhibition, we are showing 5 works by Lara Zankoul from Beirut. Her work captures everyday human behavior and issues that arise within society through photographic media. She has participated in local exhibitions, group exhibitions and solo exhibitions at Ayyam Gallery and Art Lounge in Beirut. On an international level, she has been shown at Guy Hepner Gallery in New York and HEIST Gallery in London.
