Travel to Pater Noster

Travel by car to Marstrand/Rönnäng:
From central Gothenburg it is about 45-50 km to Marstrand. E6, road 168. Travel time about 60min.

From Strömstad (from the north) it is about 150 km to Rönnäng on Tjörn. E6, road 160 from Stenungsund. Travel time approx. 2h.

Travel by bus Gothenburg - Marstrand:
From Nils Ericson Terminalen there is a direct bus, Marstrand Express, to Marstrand's ferry terminal. Travel time about 50 min.

From Landvetter Airport to Marstrand by car. About 70km and travel time about 1.15h. Road 40, E6, road 168.

There is also an airport bus from Landvetter to Gothenburg to change to Marstrand Express.

Information about the boat trip
Travel time about 15 min from both Marstrand south and Rönnäng north. The boat trip is classified as "comfort".

Clothing: On board there is a floating suit, life jacket and everything you need. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes that can withstand a little splash of water and a pair in reserve for the stay on the island.

Safety: Despite the sometimes challenging sea conditions, RIB boats offer a comfortable ride. The inflatable pontoons reduce the sensation of bumps and waves, making the crossing smoother and more comfortable for passengers. The RIB crossing from Rönnäng, on Tjörn, provides a smoother crossing. Pater Noster The skerries shade the sea, which affects the sea to behave somewhat more calmly.

Good to think about: If you have back or neck problems, are pregnant, have extra equipment to bring on board such as a stroller, or need XXXL on a flotation suit, please state this when booking. The skipper can then contact you and plan the best possible trip for you.

Packing: Pack in soft, waterproof sports bags, as the boats have limited cargo space.
