Terms & Conditions

General conditions

We act responsibly, think long-term and work constantly with sustainability, which is a central part of the decisions we make in our business. This is based on both the environmental aspect, as well as the social (inclusive, equal and tolerant) and economic sustainability. We want us and our guests to make as little impact as possible on the environment.

Our interior concept contains 70% vintage and 30% new. We have our own waterworks that desalinates and purifies the seawater we drink, and we have a goal of starting our own production of salt, seaweed products and also solar cells. Of course, we choose suppliers who work with sustainability themselves and want to develop it.

Payment/Booking conditions

Payment for private bookings is made at the time of booking. Online bookings are paid directly via card payment. For corporate bookings, an email invoice or payment link is sent with the booking confirmation.

Check-in at the latest at 15:00, check-out at the latest at 10:00.

1. cancellation

Private booking: Free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival. Cancellations between 30 days and 14 days prior to arrival will be charged 50% of the total amount of the stay. If canceled later than 14 days before arrival, 100% of the total amount of the stay will be charged.

If the weather does not allow departure to Hamneskär and our skipper deems it impossible to enter the port of Hamneskär, helicopter service is offered on price request or a deposit booking that can be used within 12 months.

Private booking with cancellation insurance: Money back (excl. cost of cancellation insurance) up to check-in if unforeseen events prevent you from traveling.

MySafetyis an insurance intermediary. You can find more information and the terms and conditions of the cancellation insurance here.

Corporate bookings: Free cancellation up to 8 weeks before arrival. If canceled later, the full value of the stay will be charged. Confirmed number of participants will be notified no later than four weeks before arrival, after which all participants will be charged. Adjustment of increased number of participants can be made up to two weeks before arrival.

If our skipper considers that it is not possible to enter Hamneskär, we offer helicopter service as an alternative, price on request. Alternatively, the booking will be held and can be used on another occasion within 12 months.

Restaurant booking: Prepayment is made when booking.

If canceled more than 7 days before the booked date, the advance payment is fully refundable. Cancellation between 3 to 7 days before the booked date will be given a 50% refund of the prepayment. Cancellation within 2 days before the booked date, no refund.

We advise our guests to inform us as early as possible of any changes to their booking. This way we can try to offer the best possible solution.

Force Majeure: Force Majeure refers to unusual, unexpected and unavoidable events that prevent the realization of the trip to Pater Noster A Home on the Horizon. Such events are those that could not reasonably be foreseen at the time of the conclusion of the contract and whose consequences could not reasonably have been avoided or overcome by Pater Noster A Home on the Horizon.

These events include (but are not limited to) war, threat of war, riots, civil disobedience, strikes, government action, acts of terrorism, natural or industrial disasters, fires, extreme weather, high river flows or floods, airport closures, and may also include labor disputes involving third parties, technical problems, maintenance problems or unexpected operational decisions by airlines, including schedule changes or IT infrastructure disruptions (including our website paternoster.se.).In such circumstances, Pater Noster A Home on the Horizon is exempt from liability for damages or other penalties.

2. Group bookings/Conference

Group bookings in pre-season and post-season: We welcome group bookings all year round. In order for us to open the hotel and island exclusively for you - which includes purchasing, planning and staffing - the charge starts from SEK 65,000.

3. EVENTS

Events sold via Tickster.se: Minimum 40 tickets sold for the day event to take place.

Kayaking: Booking must be made no later than 2 days before your arrival to Pater Noster, and it is binding. Payment is made on arrival. Booking via email reservations@paternoster.se

PRIVACY POLICY

At Pater Noster A home on the horizon, we process your personal data in various contexts, such as when you book accommodation, order services from us or use the services we provide. You can find information about our processing of personal data in our privacy policy. We process your personal data in accordance with the Swedish General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in force at the time.

Handling of personal data

By booking with us, you consent to us storing the information about you and your party that is needed to provide you with a wonderful stay with us that corresponds to your wishes. You also give your consent to be contacted afterwards so that we can ask about your experience of your stay at Pater Noster.

If you have signed an insurance policy, we share your personal data with MySafety Försäkringar to sign the insurance contract.

DATA STORAGE

We follow current rules and recommendations on data management of personal data and save your contact details and information about your booking in our systems. These are automatically deleted two years after your last contact with us. You can contact us at any time to find out what data we have saved or request that we delete your data from our systems.
