Pater Noster in Bohuslän on Sweden’s west coast, just one hour from Gothenburg and a 20-minute boat ride across the beautiful coastal landscape.
The journey to the island is a natural part of the experience and sets the tone for the transition from the mainland to seclusion at the far end of the archipelago.
Your hotel stay includes a boat trip on a RIB, with pickup at the picturesque island of Marstrand or from Rönnäng on Tjörn. The boat travels at a safe and comfortable speed with experienced skippers.

The boat tour is classified as a "comfort ride," and our experienced skippers will take you safely out to Pater Noster.
Life jackets are available to borrow on board. Please pack in soft, waterproof bags, as the boat has limited storage space.
If you have special needs—such as back or neck issues, are pregnant, have extra equipment like a stroller, or need a 4XL life jacket—please let us know when booking.
TRAVEL BY CAR
For RIB transportation included in the accommodation package, we offer two pick-up points, both easily accessible by car.
Marstrand: The pier below Coop Koön.
Rönnäng: Stansvikstappen, sjötapp.
We do not have reserved parking spaces, but there are parking facilities in the immediate area. We recommend using Google Maps to find suitable alternatives.
TRAVEL BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Gothenburg Central Station (Göteborg C)-Marstrand: Train and change with bus to Marstrand ferry stop, travel time approx. 60 min. Search for journey and current timetable at vasttrafik.se.
Summertime, from Göteborg C-Marstrand: Direct bus on specific summer dates via Marstrand Express. Other dates apply to Västtrafik.
Landvetter Airport-Göteborg C: Bus via Flygbussarna, travel time approx. 25 min. Search for travel and current timetable at flygbussarna.se
The summer café is open from July through mid-August. During that period, you can book day trips by boat through our partners, with a guaranteed berth.

Offers boat trips from Marstrandsön and the surrounding area. We accommodate all groups, regardless of size, whenever possible.
You are welcome to bring your own boat, as long as there is space in the harbor and it is safe to dock. We ask you to notify us at least three hours before your planned arrival time, in order to ensure space in the harbor, assist with docking and welcome you.
Helicopters are a convenient, safe, and comfortable way to get to the island while experiencing the coast from above. The flight from Landvetter Airport to Pater Noster about 20 minutes. Combining a helicopter and RIB is an incredible and optimal nature experience as well as an unforgettable view.
STORM Heliworks AB flies with modern, efficient helicopters and, with their extensive experience, we can guarantee that you will be satisfied.
