Despite our secluded location out at sea, we make sure that the trip to Pater Noster is both comfortable and a natural part of the experience.
Pick-up by RIB takes place at the picturesque island of Marstrand, or from Rönnäng on Tjörn. The trip offers a 20-minute safe boat ride across the open sea out to our lighthouse island, where you are welcomed on arrival in the small harbor.
With solid knowledge of the local area and close cooperation with experienced and reliable transfer partners, each guest's journey to us is smooth and comfortable, all the way.
The boat trip is classified as a comfort ride and our experienced skippers will take you safely out to Pater Noster.
On board there is a life jacket / life jacket to borrow. Pack in soft, waterproof bags as the boat has limited cargo space.
If you have special needs - for example back/neck problems, are pregnant, have extra equipment such as a stroller, or need 4XL in a flotation suit, please let us know when booking.

TRAVEL BY CAR
For RIB transportation included in the accommodation package, we offer two pick-up points, both easily accessible by car.
Marstrand: The pier below Coop Koön.
Rönnäng: Stansvikstappen, sjötapp.
We do not have reserved parking spaces, but there are parking facilities in the immediate area. We recommend using Google Maps to find suitable alternatives.
TRAVEL BY CARRIAGE
Göteborg C-Marstrand: Train and change with bus to Marstrand ferry stop, travel time approx. 60 min. Search for journey and current timetable at vasttrafik.se.
Summertime, from Gothenburg C-Marstrand: Direct bus on specific dates via Marstrand Express. Other dates apply to Västtrafik.
Landvetter Airport-Gothenburg C: Bus via Flygbussarna, travel time approx. 25 min. Search for travel and current timetable at flygbussarna.se
The nearest airport from Pater Noster is Landvetter Airport (GOT).
From Landvetter Airport to Marstrand, travel time is about 1 hour by car. We are happy to arrange private car transportation, more information further down the page.
From July to mid-August, the summer café is open. During that period you can book a day trip by boat, through our partners with guaranteed harbor berth.

You are welcome to bring your own boat, as long as there is space in the harbor and it is safe to dock. We ask you to notify us at least three hours before your planned arrival time, in order to ensure space in the harbor, assist with docking and welcome you.
Helicopters are a smooth, safe and comfortable way to get to the island, while experiencing the coast from above. The flight from Säve airport to Pater Noster takes about 10 minutes. Combining helicopter and RIB is an incredible and optimal nature experience and an unforgettable view.
STORM Heliworks AB flies with modern, efficient helicopters and with the long experience they possess, we can guarantee that you will be satisfied.
Capacity and luggage: Max 6 guests per helicopter, with weight limit and limited luggage space.
