SECLUDED, BUT EASY TO REACH
Pater Noster is located at the far end of the Bohuslän archipelago on Sweden’s west coast—secluded, but easier to reach than you might think.
From Gothenburg, it takes about 45 minutes by car to Marstrand and then about 20 minutes by RIB boat out to Pater Noster.
Gothenburg Landvetter Airport (GOT) is the nearest international airport.
Private transfers to Marstrand can be arranged, as can a helicopter flight directly to Pater Noster.
From Stockholm, Amsterdam, London, and Copenhagen, you can easily travel via GOT Airport.
From Oslo, driving to Marstrand is a convenient option.
We’re happy to help coordinate transfers and transportation all the way to the island.
The boat tour is classified as a "comfort ride," and our experienced skippers will take you safely out to Pater Noster.
Life jackets are available to borrow on board. Please pack in soft, waterproof bags, as the boat has limited storage space.
If you have special needs—such as back or neck issues, are pregnant, have extra equipment like a stroller, or need a 4XL life jacket—please let us know when booking.
The nearest airport to Pater Noster is Landvetter Airport (GOT).
The travel time from Landvetter Airport to Marstrand is approximately 1 hour by car. Pater Noster can also be reached by helicopter directly from Landvetter, or by combining a helicopter ride with a RIB transfer.

The summer café is open from July through mid-August. During that period, you can book day trips by boat through our partners, with a guaranteed berth.

You are welcome to bring your own boat, as long as there is space in the harbor and it is safe to dock. We ask you to notify us at least three hours before your planned arrival time, in order to ensure space in the harbor, assist with docking and welcome you.
We can arrange private car transportation to and from central Gothenburg and Landvetter Airport.
