Travel by car
We offer two pick-up points for RIBs, both easily accessible by car.
Marstrand - The jetty below Coop Koön.
Rönnäng - Stansvikstappen.
We do not have our own parking lots, but there are parking facilities in the immediate area. We recommend using Google Maps to find suitable alternatives.
Travel by bus
From Gothenburg Central there is a bus to Marstrand's ferry terminal. Travel time about 60 min.

Travel by air to Gothenburg
From Landvetter Airport to Marstrand, travel time is about 1 hour by car. We are happy to arrange private car transport, more information further down the page.
There is also an airport bus from Landvetter to Gothenburg to change to Marstrand Express.
Information about the boat trip
Travel time about 20 min from both Marstrand south and Rönnäng north. The boat trip is classified as a "comfort ride".
Packing: On board there is a flotation suit / life jacket to borrow. We recommend shoes that can withstand a little splash of water, and a pair in reserve for the stay on the island. Please pack in soft, waterproof bags as the boats have limited cargo space.
Safety: Although sea conditions can sometimes be challenging, RIB boats offer a comfortable ride. The inflatable pontoons reduce the sensation of bumps and waves, making the crossing smoother and more pleasant. The crossing from Rönnäng provides a smoother crossing as Pater Noster shade the sea, which affects the sea to behave somewhat calmer.
Good to consider: If you have back or neck problems, are pregnant, have extra equipment (e.g. stroller) or need a XXXL flotation suit, please let us know when booking so the skipper can plan the best possible trip for you.

You are welcome to bring your own boat, as long as there is space in the harbor and it is safe to dock. We ask you to notify us at least three hours before your planned arrival time, in order to ensure space in the harbor, assist with docking and welcome you.
Helicopters are a smooth, safe and comfortable way to get to the island, while experiencing the coast from above. The flight from Säve airport to Pater Noster takes about 10 minutes. Combining helicopter and RIB is an incredible and optimal nature experience and an unforgettable view.
