In her work, she highlights both the beauty of the ocean and the threats facing its ecosystems; her work is used to inspire action to protect the ocean, and she has won several international awards for her photography.

In her work *Galaxies in Her Eyes*, she recounts her close encounter with the humpback whale Sweet Girl, a moving story that serves as a reminder of both the ocean’s grandeur and its vulnerability.

The exhibition continues to evolve through new works and perspectives, as artists explore water as a form of expression, an element, and a concept.

Christy Lee Rogers creates dramatic, Baroque-inspired scenes where light, movement, and the body’s expressions take shape in the water. Lara Zankoul works conceptually with water as a symbol of the subconscious, where dreamlike visual worlds intersect with psychological themes. Olle Nordell brings a more tranquil, poetic perspective, capturing the coastal light and landscape with a presence that enhances the place’s own narrative.
