After careful renovation, the old residence of the Lighthouse Master has been transformed into an award-winning boutique hotel with nine well-designed rooms with comfortable beds and capacity for 24 guests.
Experience and feel, take a refreshing bath after a hot sauna, sleep under the stars, go on a seal safari or fishing trip with professional fishermen, take a guided sea kayak tour and swim with the seals, practice yoga on the rocks or in the lighthouse with an instructor, harvest seaweed with a marine biologist to cook and taste, get a massage from a masseur at the top of the lighthouse, take a RIB tour along the coast among the islets and islets, fish or haul crab pots from the island. The possibilities are endless.
Experiencing strong winds, snow, rain or sun on the island is equally amazing but has different allure. In strong winds, a mighty sound rumbles over the island as the lighthouse structure gives off and white foam flies around, looking like fresh snow. When the sun comes out, the light is crisp and clear, the wind dies down and the island becomes a popular destination again. Boaters venture out and birds land safely in the island's protected nature reserve.
Whatever the weather, you will feel a reverence for the Lighthouse people who lived and worked on this island and you will have a genuine and powerful experience of nature.

The old Fogorn Station is a detached house next to the lighthouse. The foghorns are still on the house and have prevented many tragedies. There are about 1,000 wrecks at the bottom of the sea, among all the Pater Noster islands.
Our largest facility is a large, unique boathouse that the Lighthouse Keepers used as a tool shed and boat house in the winter.
This is where the gunpowder for the two cannons was stored, which were used in fog to warn the captain on board of the Pater Noster shields. Sitting here looking out over the endless horizon and the seal colony on the islet beyond is magical. Here you will find motivation and creativity.
While a ship was at anchor, it was customary for the lighthouse keeper to invite the ship's captain to dinner. Here, in the Lighthouse keeper's dining room, the Lighthouse people received news from land - sometimes their only contact with the outside world.
The old lighthouse garden belonged to the lighthouse keeper. Today, flowers and vegetables grow here while birds nest in the stone wall. This idyllic spot is enclosed by fences to reduce the wind that often blows on the island.
