General conditions

We act responsibly, think long-term and work constantly to improve our sustainability, and we bring this to the decisions we make in our business. This is based on environmental, social (inclusive, equal and tolerant) and our own financial sustainability. We want both ourselves and our guests to make as little impact as possible on the environment.

Our interior design concept is 70% vintage and 30% new. We have our own water plant that desalinates and purifies seawater that we drink, and we have a goal to start our own production of salt, seaweed products and even solar cells. Of course, we choose suppliers who work with sustainability themselves and want to develop it.

Booking conditions

Beverage costs are additional and are paid by card at check-out. Payment for private bookings is made online by card. For corporate bookings, an invoice or payment link is sent upon confirmation of the booking via reservations@paternoster.se
Access to the rooms no later than 15:00, check-out no later than 10:00.

1. cancellation

Private booking: Cancellation is free of charge until 60 days before the arrival date. If cancellation is made after these 60 days, a fee of 25% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged. If canceled between 30 days and 15 days before arrival, 75% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged. If canceled later than 14 days before arrival, 100% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged. With the addition of our cancellation cover, you can cancel without reason no later than 2 weeks before arrival and get all money back except the premium for the cancellation cover.

If the weather does not allow departure to Hamneskär and our skipper believes that it is not possible to enter the port of Hamneskär, helicopter service is offered on price request or an outstanding booking that can be used within 12 months.

Lobster package: Free of charge until 4 weeks before your booked stay. If canceled later, the entire stay is charged excluding drinks. If the weather and our skipper do not allow RIB to Hamneskär , helicopter transport is offered, price on request, or the booking becomes outstanding that can be used at another time within 12 months.

Force Majeure: Force Majeure refers to unusual, unexpected and unavoidable events that prevent the implementation of the trip to Pater Noster A home on the horizon. Such events are those that could not reasonably be foreseen at the time of contracting and whose consequences could not reasonably have been avoided or overcome by Pater Noster A Home on the Horizon.

These events include (but are not limited to) war, threats of war, riots, civil disobedience, strikes, government action, acts of terrorism, natural or industrial disasters, fires, extreme weather, high water flows in rivers or floods, airport closures, and may also include labor disputes involving third parties, technical problems, maintenance problems or unexpected operational decisions by airlines, including schedule changes or IT infrastructure disruptions (including our website paternoster.se).In such circumstances, Pater Noster A home on the horizon is exempt from liability or other penalties.

2. Group bookings/Conference

Group bookings during the pre and post season: In order for us to open the hotel and the island exclusively for you, which includes purchasing and planning, the charge starts from SEK 65,000.

Cancellation is free of charge until eight weeks before the booked stay. If canceled later, the full value of the stay will be charged excluding drinks. We need to have confirmed the number of participants four weeks before the booked stay (adjustments of increased number of participants can be made until two weeks before). After that, all confirmed participants will be charged.

If our skipper finds it impossible to dock at Hamneskär, we offer helicopter service as an alternative, price on request. Alternatively the booking will be held and can be used at another time within 12 months.

Force Majeure: Force Majeure refers to unusual, unexpected and unavoidable events that prevent the completion of the trip to Pater Noster A home on the horizon. Such events are those which could not reasonably be foreseen at the time of contracting and whose consequences could not reasonably have been avoided or overcome by Pater Noster A Home on the Horizon.

3. EVENTS

Events sold via Tickster.se: Minimum 40 tickets sold for the day's event to take place.

Kayaking: Reservations must be made no later than 2 days before your arrival to Pater Noster, and are binding. Payment is made on arrival. Booking via email reservations@paternoster.se

PRIVACY POLICY

At Pater Noster A home on the horizon, we process your personal data in various contexts, such as when you book accommodation or order services from us, use the services we provide. In our privacy policy you will find information about our processing of personal data. We process your personal data in accordance with the Swedish General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR, in force at the time.

Handling of personal data

By booking with us, you consent to us storing the information about you and your party that is needed to provide you with a wonderful stay with us that meets your wishes. You also give your consent to be contacted afterwards so that we can ask about your experience of your stay at Pater Noster.

DATA STORAGE

We comply with applicable rules and recommendations on data processing of personal data and only store your contact details and details of your booking in our systems. Two years after your last contact with us, these are automatically deleted. You can contact us at any time to find out what data we have stored or request that we delete your data from our systems.
